Intimidation

A refined appearance

And demeanor of vast perseverance 

An enigmatic individual

Who is nothing but unpredictable

One who never seizes to amaze

Yet denies every kind of praise

The first moment you turned around and looked

Was enough for me to get hooked

I wonder if others have the same perception

Or if my conception is merely an exception 

Unsure how to handle these thoughts

Because whatever I do, I cannot connect the dots

Not knowing how to speak to someone so divine 

Fearful that you will simply decline

My mind creates a hallucination of intimidation
An admiration which refrains me from starting a conversation

But the few phrases that we have exchanged

Caused my mind to to feel less deranged

Your views illuminated my perspective

Making me reflective about my life's objective

Wondering how amazing it would be

If you were to choose someone like me

It made me realize that my primary endeavor

Is to make you mine forever
