Deceiving Majesty

Deceiving Majesty

A Poem by Sparrow
"

{Diamtante experiment} I'm not sure how many times in life I've felt like I was wearing a mask for the benefit of others. This is about the cracking of the facade, but only when the queen is alone. It wouldn't do at all to scare the court.

"

Queen

Beautiful, perfect

Sitting, smiling, lying

Opaque, elegant, deceitful, gracious

Drowning, crying, dying

Cracking

I love this one. It starts off so elegent the ends with such harshness. I love it, good work.
