blinded by chains

I've been blinded by chains for so long,

its hard to see when their gone.

so cold, so dark.

depression has taken over my life.

it's hard to do anything even breathe.

Living is almost unbearable,

life is just not important anymore.

 

I can see a small light at the end of the hall,

after so long of being in the dark the light hurts.

the warmth is different from the coldness ive felt for so long.

living is becoming to be an option,

life is starting to become important again.

this is a new begining, to a life full of life and warmth.

but illalways carry my depression with me,

for the rest of my life.
