chapter 1

Luna was walking silently down the street at 10:46. It was cold, colder than usual for a summer night. She could't shake the weird feeling she was being followed. But she knew it was just the moon, or was it?

She thought it might be Chance. Luna stoped and yelled chances name out. But no one answered. Luna was a little frightened. She called out Chance's name again, her voice was shaky, she tried to steady her voice but she couldn't. Luna called out Chance's name out once more and still no answer.She started to walk away from the lamp post she was standing under. She heard steps behind her. She walked a little faster. Right then she regreted not letting Chance's dad give her a ride home. The footsteps got louder and faster, Luna was now jogging. Now the footsteps were running after her. She looked around she heard something ahead a parade maybe, But this late. Luna doughted that but she still ran towards the sounds. She triped over some concrete. She couldn't help it She had to say it. The strange words  rolled of her lips.

Est, Air ti convocare,

Sud, Fuoco vi convocare,

West, Acqua ti convocare,

nel Nord, la Terra vi evocare,

centro di tutti gli elementi e della vita,

lo Spirito vi evocare

As soon as the words were said, the footsteps disapeared. But she kept running She wouldn't trust her ears. She turned the corner, she knew it, it wasn't a parade. It was a street fighting compatition. She walked past some people waiting to fight. One of the three guys their asked "who are you fighting". Luna looked back at them then at her hand where one of her hands were holding her heals and the other was in a fist. then she looked back at them. They had a scared look on their faces a different guy in the group said " hay freak show, why don't you go back to the curcis where you belong?" the third guy said "dude leave her alone, she's probably just wearing contacts. right?". Luna answered " Yea their just contacts" and smiled. The boy who was the tallest, nicest, and cutest, offered her a ride home sence he was done for the night.

Luna took the offer. The boy and Luna walked to His car. They didn't say anything. Then the boy asked Luna "um, whats your name?". " My names Luna, and whats yours?" she asked as nicely as she could. " My names Dylan, Luna you have a beautiful name, but not as beautiful as you". Dylan said. They were at his car. As soon as Luna saw it she almost literally drooled over it. He asked if she was going to get in Luna said" huh, oh yea" she could feel he face get hot and was gratful that the moon was covered by clouds. She was about to open the door when Dylan said " I'll get that" as he was smiling. Making Luna's face get even hotter. She got in and sat in the passengers seat. Dylan closed the door and walked around to the drivers seat.

He got in and started the car and asked "Where do you live?". Luna said "2081 Jackson Blvd". He said " okay let get going" with the same smile that made Luna go crazy about.

It took a while for Luna to ask but when she finally asked " whats your number?" at the same time as Dylan. They both laughed. dylan said "can I see your cell real quick?" Luna answered '' sure, why not?'' Luna got her cell and gave it to Dylan. He put his number in her cell then asked '' can i call my cell? so your numbers in it" Luna answered "Yea". They got to Luna's house. It was 1:29 her mother was going to kill her. Luna said with a panict voice '' I got to go now. I'll call you or you can call me whenever" He grabed her hand as she was opening the door. He said " goodnight little angel" She blushed and didn't care if he saw iit this time. she said " goodnight ".
