You must know that I fell for you first

Like literally fell face first at your feet

Due to the fact that my heart was desperately trying to reach out to you

But you being oblivious to my adoration and affection for you

You misinterpret a lover’s fool for every day clumsiness 

And that may be true 

Because everyday I am in your presence 

And my love for you gets tangled in my stride 

And I fall harder each time
