She winced as she heard the screeching of nails scratching across the board. She had made the mistake - the mistake to tell out her way of murdering if she could murder. She had said that she would make those noises til' night, and when the person was finally exhausted, she would stop, and let the person dose off before she came in, making the noises and stabbing their leg before leaving. She had said that she would do it every night, and leave the victim to start. She sincerely regretted it now, as she heard the scratching stop. She knew she was going to dose off; she was too tired and hungry. She knew that if she fell asleep, the person who had captured her would do the very same. She stood up, pacing the room, trying to stay awake. But whatever she tried, she still felt the blanket of sleepiness falling over her. It had been two nights since she had slept, so why not? The thought found its way into her mind, tempting her. She shook her head, trying to shake the thought away with it as well. But the thought just came back, with more temptation. She couldn't handle it anymore. Her eyelids felt heavy, and as she lied down on the ground, she felt her eyes closing, and then...nothing. She didn't dream anything, but suddenly, she felt a pain in her leg. She knew what it was immediately, but was shocked that she had slept through the screeching sounds. She opened her eyes slowly. The pain was immense, but somehow it seemed to hurt less because of her sleepiness. When her eyes were finally fully open and used to the dim light, she looked around. The pain hit her full force, but she didn't want to care anymore. As she started falling into a deep sleep, she knew that she was going to die...that she wasn't able to handle it anymore. "Enjoy." The person said, as she closed her eyes and fell into her sleep willingly, letting death take her.
