Spellbound: Prologue

The earth shook and vibrated under him as Oliver ran and hopped under the white van.
"Darn! when will he give up?" Oliver said as he took cover from the Infestation's deadly blasts. Oliver glanced over at Julia who was locked knee deep in a battle against three goblin warriors. Oliver looked for Yusuf but he was nowhere to be seen.
"You humans have no Idea what you have sparked." bellowed the Infestation. He made a wicked smile which sent a jolt of fear climb into Oliver's spine. He knew what the Infestation was talking about. It had been hinted at throughout his whole journey.
"You know just as well as I do that he can't be stopped.'' said the Infestation more calmly "No one wants to believe that it even exists but we know that the truth is on the horizon." And with that the Infestation vanished along with his band wicked creatures.
