I ran my hand through my hair, while taking a sip of my hot Twining’s Breakfast Tea Suddenly the Knocking on the door is so loud, it got to be that mail man again, so many times I’ve warned him from coming to me in the early hours of morning but he just doesn’t get it does he?

-          (Who is it?), my voice mumbled, no one seemed to answer.

I unlocked the door sliced opened but no one was there, I felt weird,  I looked up the sky and it was a beautiful day, the sky was clear and the wind is heartwarming, I took a look on both sides but couldn’t figure where did the knocking came from, maybe it’s one of those clumsy boys playing around again.

I closed the door and went back to normal, I took my usual morning shower, brushed my teeth, fixed my messy hair as I dried it, I pulled my jeans up put on my black blues and ran faster out of the house, jumped in my car and drove as fast as I could, hopefully all the lights would be green for that if I arrived late again, my boss will kill me. Even though it’s rare in Casablanca to find streets empty or green lights.

As I drove I glanced a young girl she was dressed in red, spinning around and round in this green garden, she had this amazing smile, like she was so happy enjoying her life, I slow down the car and kept looking at her as she ran all over the street and back to her backyard I could hear the echoes of her laughs all over my ears. The weirdest thing that ever happened to me is that I felt connected to her, as if I’ve known her, I must be daydreaming, I put my foot down on the gas as I took the wheel and drove my way out of there.

I finally arrived to my work place, I left the keys for the guard in the parking lot and took the elevator pressed the 12th floor button and took a good look at myself in the mirror  I look pale my inner goddess murmured I ignored her. The

elevator is there eventually; I left it and with confidence slammed my way onto my office’s door,

I realized I was the first to get there, I turned on the lights, sat in my wooden chair and clicked my laptop on, got down to business, and in about half an hour  all the employees arrived, they all came grate me, asked how was my weekend and then went back to accomplish their jobs.

All natural as usual, my Monday was going smoothly, until I received a phone call from my mother saying she came to see me before she travels to Tangier. She apologized for making me leave my job and go meet her, but she couldn’t go without seeing me, after all I’m her only child. I went to my boss’s office knocked on the door and got in, I explained to him my situation and he surprisingly agreed, he even gave me the rest of the day off, I went home quickly, and the surprise was not finding my mother there waiting, but that girl in red, I walked quietly toward her, with my feet barely touching the ground so that my high heels don’t make a sound, I surprisingly put my hand on her arm from behind, I caught her looking into my house from the small door’s window, she was completely shocked, her hands were shaking to the point I couldn’t say anything to her, when  I looked at her I felt this strong bond between us that made no sense, she took advantage of my moment of thinking and she run away, I couldn’t believe how outlandish my day turned like, I opened the door and went inside, I waited for my mother to come, but not for so long, after 10 minutes I heard knocks on the door, I rushed to the door and opened, I gave my mom a huge hug, and let her inside, she seemed to be ill,  I made some of my mother’s favorite tea and we set on the coach and talked for hours, she told me about her visit to Tangier, it was in order to meet one of my gamma’s doctors, before she went she told me something strange, she asked me if I feel scared or if  I saw something  paranormal going on before, when I’m alone at home, I ridiculously told her that I don’t believe in such things and that I’ve never saw anything odd around, I wished her a safe travel and said goodbye

I spent the rest of my day laying on my coach, reading “the 7 habits of highly effective people” until I fell asleep right there.

I woke up terrified in the middle of the night, by a strange noise, I took the baseball bat from the closet in the living room, and walked on my toes, as I followed the source of the noise, It was coming from the basement, I went down stairs and with a lot of courage I opened the door, as my arms were all prepared for hitting the person who entered my house, but there was no one in there, I checked it all. Maybe what my mother told me got deep inside my mind and made all these delusions.
