Fall Sunset 🌅A Poem by Stoned ImmaculateWe stand on the shoulders of Giants. 🌅
Eventide.
Moments before Twilight Chases rays away. Cool, crisp breeze Embraces my body Soothing- while eyes Marvel Her majesty. Mirage- the setting Sun. Glorious illusory layered Like heavenly Abstract Expressionism. Norman Lewis’s atmospheric brushwork Sits above Bay’s Court, Juxtaposed above Bay’s Trees, Transforms Bay’s Sky: Brushstrokes of Sky blue, Cream, Banana yellow, Honey and Gold, Amethyst, Opera Mauve, and Coral red Are perfect palette Pursuing the Sun’s daylight. Blackbird in the sky soaring by; Dusk trails wind beneath its wings. Her Leaves feel Sun heading South Her unwavering fidelity Conserves Earth’s sanctity. She knows the Sun’s amour Is the reason- the reason For the Seasons. Her Trees brace for Winter’s Eve; Jack Frost’s annual plea for tryst. Her Leaves prepare to pass Gently into the Night. © 2018 Stoned Immaculate |
