A.W.O.L ImmaculateA Poem by Stoned ImmaculateInspired by Earthgang’s A.W.O.L (ie Strays with Rabies Album). Didn’t intend to make this a poem, as it’s really just a collection of thoughts
And “When they ask me when I been at”?
I be like freeing my mind. Trying to make up lost time. You have to sacrifice to find happiness What’s losing a couple pawns When you attain your dreams? Too many times during my adolescence, I was worried about fitting in. My demons propagated self consciousness, I wasn’t even aware. Now I be A.W.OL, shaping my radical worldview. Hour glass half full, no longer concerned about anybody’s opinion or perception, something typified by my hair. That includes the Bros, through my darkest times I suffered through a solemn uncertainty Too much pride, A fate Intertwined with silent sufferings My losses, you aren’t even aware. Had to pick myself up from zero. Temp Agency work ain’t really fair. My focus is my princess, Not a day goes by, when I don’t think how would she fare if I wasn’t here © 2017 Stoned Immaculate |
