The Diary of Love and Loss

The Diary of Love and Loss

A Poem by Stoned Immaculate
"

Entry 1

"
Last night
Under the collage
Of stellar evolution
We walked along the shore.
The evening breeze
Cooled the sand
That Bakes under
The Summer sun.
Gentle waves inched back
And forth along the shoreline.

As our hands joined
And fingers interlocked,
The feelings of romance
Tingled down my spine.
I found myself in timeless
Serenity.

When we stopped to admire
The heaven’s red super moon,
Juxtaposed on the horizon.
A warm palette of
Orange and red hues
Painted over the
Luminescent glow.
Soon I realized
The last hour when we met
Was a miracle like
The creation of food from color.
You have awoken parts
Of my heart
Pumping life
Into new emotions
Adoration, passion, and bliss.
Our eyes foresaw intamcy
And we welcomed the warmth
Shared in our embrace.
The avidity of our love
Was ignited by a kiss.
