She Whispered

She Whispered

A Poem by Stoned Immaculate

Insidious despair ravages my spirit,
A Black Death devouring
My humanity.
Night terrors become reality
When pendulums begin to swing.
In vast, abyss of darkness.
Demon's howls drown my screams.
Each pass brings uncertainty
Feelings of hopelessness
Can last for eternity...
Over roars of burning brimstone
Prophetic voice appeases
Misery like mother's touch
Alleviates her toddlers grief.
She whispered divine
Grace onto me.
"Only through faith
Can one become KING!"
