Naive Optimist

I’m the naive optimist,

Striving for hope to give,

Give and take to raise us from this,

Pit that we call life and such,

It’s a wonder we give so many f***s,

Yet can’t touch…

Fail to plan out, but wish it pans out,

Energy vampires, with their fangs out,

No thanks to the suckers and leeches,

Draining and complaining and reaching,

Pulling at my soul and testing…

… All I want is a good future,

And you should:

A world of wonder and culture,

Optimistically positive away from the vultures,

Tumultuous times and financially stressful,

At our behest and unrestfully cold,

Too much worry beyond our control,

We unfold…

It’ll be fine, see,

Plenty more fish in the sea, believe,

When it comes out in the wash,

Adjust your Ariel and seek Comfort,

This conditioning they give ain’t whiter than white, right?

Repressed hope and dashed dreams,

Cash streams and passive income it seems,

Are the road to happiness,

Away from crappiness,

But what happens is this…

We focus on externals and others for guidance,

But eternally the internal force inside us,

Guides us

Our energy, frequency and mindset will,

Manifest our path,

Realign our stars,

Naively trust and remain optimistic, 

That we have power, and control,

So don’t blink and miss it…
