Misdirection

Misdirection

A Poem by LeslieNR

l watch from a distance

My eyes moving as she moved

Watching her laugh with her friends

Loving without a single clue.

Not knowing I was here

Not caring about her Grace

A Beautiful Sight

In such an Unforgiving race.

She's walking down a path

A path of emptiness

Glowing with such mercy

It is her special gift.

If not for her fears

That guided her down this path

A single course of misdirection

Would be her very last.

This is awesome. Nothing is as it seems. Sometimes people are not driven by what they appear to be driven by. Someone beautiful who seems to just be flowing in Love everywhere she goes could be in fact fueled by fear, the opposite of Love. Misdirection.
