victim of my rhythm

victim of my rhythm

A Poem by shawnt5604

You have beauty
but I have wisdom
Welcome to my kindom

Because now your the victim
Of my rhythm

Your insecurities are concealed by
your pride
Living in a world
Full of your lies
You hide
The real you
Too far inside
Of your twisted intuitions
That I know
Have wicked intentions

Don't try to fight this
Just deal with it
My eyes see right through
You

I'm sorry you don't like this
Just deal with it
Your cries don't change my view
Of you

I laugh at your pity
As I spit on your tears
Maybe now you'll think of the years
that I tried to confide
In you

You were never there
Only leaving me bare
without a shoulder to cry on
Which is the reason why I taunt
You now

Drawing a crowd
As is read these words out loud
They're not laughing at me
But at you

You can't get out of this prison
Light stuck in a prism
I hope you enjoyed being the victim
Of my rhythm
