Twenty feet off the groundA Poem by shawnt5604
I'm holding on to a rope
That has me twenty feet off the ground But if I fell Would it even make a sound To you Hands losing grip As my head starts to pound With the fear Of you not being around As you choose To live a life Without me by your side I can think of a million reasons why You'd be better With me this time But its too late My grip falls with my fate When all hope is finally gone And your regrets finally taunt You with the inevitable sound Of me falling twenty feet to the ground © 2014 shawnt5604Reviews
