A Poem by shawnt5604

Am I the reason you breathe
Or am I the reason you cry
I can't take anymore
Of wondering why
You hide
Your true feelings inside

I wrap my head around your heart
Always conjuring
As it tears me apart
I can't live without you
But I can't take anymore
Of the things you do
I'm torn
As I pick my spirit up off the floor
Forgetting all the thing I adore
About you

As you choose
Not really to care
Leaving my soul bare
I weep
Though you keep
All the solutions to my sorrow
Locked deep inside
of a place you hide
I cry

If you only knew
How good it feels to hear your voice say my name
But I place the blame
On you

You say, I love you too
But still
You do the things that you do
Leaving me far asray
Wishing for a better way
To get to you
As I choose
To endure

Leaving myself with only one thing thats for sure
My love
That cures
Most everything that you wish for
Too bad you left my wishes on the floor
Years ago
