As my heart bleeds inkA Poem by shawnt5604
My love feels like vengeance
As my heart bleeds like ink Scripting my story cleanses My pain on these peices of paper, I think Though The tears throughout the years Seemingly have hidden all my fears The crying of my silouette's shade Falls with tears as the ink smears My sorrow away And as sometimes It seems the walls are caving in around me My senseless rhymes Have a way of always helping me Hold strong Because all along The things I had written came from the heart Helping me realize how smart It was to vent my pain That now seems like art As this ink continues to fill pages Getting me through the struggling stages That leads me to an oasis That now sees happier ages For the apparent sadness Shown from my ink as a child Now you can see Has came several miles as I continue to fight My tears away from These pages I write © 2014 shawnt5604 |
