feeling the night

i feel
the aura in the air tonight
it's one of those kind of nights
when we know we're going to do something extravegant

 

a sense in our being
that might have a touch of bad intent
but so smooth is our wrecklesness
as we just go with it

 

not a care in the world
taking this world's spin for a swirl
wrapping our minds around it
and we do not quit
because something so euphoric
has to be legit

 

at least we tell ourselves that
as we go on our spree
feeling like tonight
nothing can stop me

 

I say one last prayer
not with a cry but with a stare
pointed straight forward
to this world
as I know I own this moment
tonight
