garden full of roses

garden full of roses

A Poem by shawnt5604

a garden full of roses
might have a thousand thorns
still the wise man only mourns
when a petal is torn

every stick and prick
it takes to hold up a rose
is worth every second
of enjoying the beauty it beholds

and one day that rose will wilter
but surely you won't forget
the true beauty inside
the same as when you first met
