Docked in Moonlight.

Docked in Moonlight.

A Poem by RHEA CROSLEY
"

I get a lot from sitting out at a dock and looking at the water on full moon nights. This is a write about that calming effect.

"

I will not listen to the voice of gloom.

No not in the season when flowers bloom.

Even at night so fair by the dock why think of doom?

Sitting here beautfully caressed by calm light of the moon.

Strangely like a low lying fog it does creep in.

This fog of gloom as ugly as sin.

I resist this stealthy dreary pull.

I shall not succumb to be its fool.

NO, for now I shall ignore its lure.

Relax let the light of Love's moon work its cure.

I wish I was that close to a dock. Water, the moon and nature's beauty is always soothing, isn't it? A nice poem, Rhea.
