The Princess and the Prince

The Princess and the Prince

A Poem by RHEA CROSLEY
"

A Princess is held back from her love by devilish lies.

"

Once upon a time in a far away land lived a beautiful princess with majestic words.
On the other side of the forest west from her land accross the water beyond the great fords,

was a prince tried and true who had traveled to other worlds.

The prince was good with words as well;
but, he could not break the spell.

He would write to the princess of His love he would tell.
But she could not hear for the whispers of hell.

The prince he beckoned for help from on high.
Beyond the king over all the sky.
Alas did his expectation rise when God heard him cry.

And a message was sent throughout the land
That perhaps God might move his hand.

For he would move the east to the west
and shake the world so love could be blessed.

Silence the devils in there foolishness.
And save pure love from distress.

For could it be "for such a time as this"
The message healed and two would be one with bliss.

For when love is complete the Angles sing.
And with it God's greatest gifts they bring.

This was absolute sweetness. I loved this "Silence the devils in there foolishness. / And save pure love from distress." ------------this knocked me off my feet. Love is you. When you love you become love. What a wonderful message. I also wrote something like a fairy tale...I will post now. It is too epic. It is an older piece... perhaps you like to see I think the title I have it was "Once upon a life time" there were 9 pieces of this.

Your morality has got substance. I adore it when text makes me convinced without wanting.

This is amazing Rhea, I like it a lot. You've connected earthly ways with God's ways and that'll draw those who do not follow him.

This is a delight to read! You've incorporated emotions with belief and, so finely.

The meter's just a little off in places but, that's not unusual for someone wanting to create a piece close to his or her heart.

Thank you for sharing. Have a happy weekend.
