Vision of Love

Vision of Love

A Poem by RHEA CROSLEY
"

The spirit of a lover now on the other side sends a vision to the past beloved.

"

Memories of love now dance across my mind.

A solace of spirit and emotional wine.

Intoxicated by her memory mingled with new possibilities.

She says to me go forward for love has opened up a path of intrinsic intragencies.

What peaceful adventure does now entice me?

Where am I headed on this delightful voyage with what entity?

Is that snow now falling on a summer night?

No it's feathers of the Angels now in loves flight.

I can see ahead and there she stands wrapped in beautiful pastel light.

She holds keys in her hand and majestically she shines in the starry night.

This my first vision of my love to be.

The one that God is preparing for me.

And will the Angels sing?

Will the church bells ring?

Gently now I ember off to sleep.

Now with a vision of love to keep.

Same title as one of my favorite songs, "Vision of love" by mariah carey.

Oh, how dreamy! really shows how in touch with your emotions you really are. I am sure that once that woman in your dreams finds you she will be blessed, you will treat her with the upmost respect. i really liked this piece.

thanks for sharing it.

"where am I headed on this delightful voyage with what entity"?
In my long, illustrious journey full of peaks and pitfalls I have learned that life is about perfect timing, harmony and balance. When you are ready the teacher will arrive, when you are prepared the gift will come. Never doubt, just be ready to say yes and to receive.

Rhea,

this is a beautiful write full of love and hope.
I had previously reviewed it and realized
when I re-read it that my words didn't seem
appropriate, so I'm re-doing.

I think love remains with us always,
in one form or another, whether it
be memories from old love or moments
with new..

This is a lovely heartfelt piece.
As always, beautifully penned by you my friend :)
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Wonderful take on eternal life Rhea and a vision of hope that entices the reader to believe in something bigger than us li'l ole' humans...we are so small in the scheme of things. I think 'angle' is meant to be 'angel?'
Now I 'amber?' not sure what you meant by that...amble?
Nice flow and diversion of stanzas.
Cheers,
Helen :-)
