Spirits and Love

Spirits and Love

A Poem by RHEA CROSLEY
"

The spirit by love meets where it is hidden and for flesh forbidden.

"

My spirit does take to rapturous height.

Having never seen in person, my spirit crosses the ocean , visits you, not with mortal sight.

Sometimes in the day or even in the night.

When ever love calls my spirit takes flight.

My love comes as a hidden solace to your soul.

I have comfort for you better than man has told.

Love has no boundaries and is not faint.

It can not be held back by oceans or human restraint.

Yet so powerful it does not demand

only in accepted service does it plan.

In an instant, I am there with you as my spirit intertwines with love to bless.

With love there is no distance nor end of goodness.

The first mover, the paramount Spirit is the empowerment.

So be blessed and let your spirit breathe and soar for this is loves endowment.

Your composition reminded me of a piece of music entitled, 'Love Has No Boundaries' (from an album with the same title). It was written by Beres Hammond; a reggae singer from Jamaica, who is particular known for his romantic lovers rock style.

Great flow and solidly written romantic piece - excellent write!

Beautiful, it flows so terrifically, just like the ocean waves and love when it is in the best place. Lovely.

I liked this piece. Beautifully written. Great how you break up each paragraph with two stanzas each, making it easier to read. Nice job!

Beautiful, strong and spirit filled prose. You make your point of union very well Rhea. I could identify with this so well and I thank you for writing it. Your wording is well placed and the feeling of transcience is palpable.
