Love goes further then you think

Love goes further then you think

Love is a motivating force that truly does hold in its grasp the things of forever.

Pulsating muscles, beating heart, rising temperature, flashes of thought intense
Why?
Because you have entered the room.

And yet I must stand cool and calm in control to win your heart.
I will smile, laugh play all the right games.
WHY?
Because, you are worth it.

Strategy is swirling in my head,
as my brain does cold calculation for my heart
My heart which is being flooded with the hot emotions of love.

If you do not chose, me; I shall let you easily go and turn away.
Why?
For I truly love you.

If you could capture the energy in my soul for you,
it would keep you happy for a thousand years.

For I know the love I have belonged first to God who loved you before there was time with an everlasting love.

So I know I can reach up to the heavens to find solace for your soul.

I will fight the beasts of hell to bring you peace.

There are 10,000 women who are dim in the light of your presence.
They are all washed away in the sea of forgetfulness for you my beloved.

You think this to much no its not near.
You do not realize the greatness of what God has created you to be.

Your eyes are still half shut.
Here take my hand let us walk among the stars.

Let us see on the other side of the veil of time.
Let your spirit fly with mine to the 7th Heaven.
Together let us see what few have ever dared to see.

With love all things are possible
                        all things could be.

I love this poem - it captures the true unselfishness of love, and the idea that, if you really love someone, you'll let them go and be happy, even if it is without you. This poem is optomistic and gorgeous, and definitely a nice change from the whinier love poems that you find so many of nowadays. XD Great job!

You do not realize the greatness of what God has created you to be.

My favorite line in this beautiful poem, because it is so true for so many people. I read it and feel passionate about the reality of it, I let it sink into my chest and feel the realization of the truth of the statement. Terrific. Thank you for sharing.

This is truely a beautiful peace. The way that you put God first and your love in his shadow should be practiced by all. Yet few know that without God, You cannot walk the stars of everlasting love. Wonderful writing.

Beautiful words for a beautiful love. There are so many wonderful phrases here '... strategy is swirling in my head,
'Here, take my hand, let us see on the other side of the veil of time'
