MAROON COLLIE

MAROON COLLIE

A Chapter by STAR CHILD

MAROON COLLIE
Once upon a time there was a collie. She was unique and quite pretty.  He name was Lucy.   She was also quite lonely because you see she was an outsider because of her color.  You see she was a maroon color.  She was sad and lonely.  One night late at night as she lay in a doorway for the nights sleep. A bright light flashed on her for a minute and a woman’s heavenly voice was heard oh so sweet. As it sung out to Lucy.
Lucy my dear
Maroon you may be
A beauty you are to me
Rise and come to me
Oh my precious collie
Oh my precious girl
No end to joy you bring
Lucy my dear
Come to me my dear
Oh my special soul
Lovely you are
A hope you bring
My angel
Color does not matter
Be happy with who you are
Special you are
When the voice stopped. Lucy realized what she was.  And knew the woman was right. And she began to reflect who she was and how special she was.
Can you tell me the moral of this story?
