THE FROG PRINCE AND HIS PRINCESS

THE FROG PRINCE AND HIS PRINCESS

A Chapter by STAR CHILD

THE FROG PRINCE AND HIS PRINCESS
There was once a frog no one knew he was really a prince
He would sit on his lily pad ribbed
Looking at the land out side his little pond
Him catching flies to eat
Once day he heard the most enchanting voice
Of a princess singing
She had the most beautiful voice
Oh what a dream
The frog prince
Hope he has
Entrenched on his pad
Frog prince ribbed ribbed
Frog prince ribbed
From his pad he hops
Ribbed he went
Oh what joy
Grace he had
Frog prince ribbed ribbed
Frog prince ribbed
Happy he is
Prince is what he is
Reaching his princess
In the land of nod
Calmness she has
Enchanting she is
Frog prince ribbed ribbed
Frog prince ribbed
Happy he is
A song his princess sings
A wonder is felt
No end to his joy
Dancing as he comes to the edge of his pond
Frog prince ribbed ribbed
Frog prince ribbed
Happy he is
A song his princess sings
A joy is felt
His spell can be broken
If she kisses
Sweet is her song
Frog prince ribbed ribbed
Frog prince ribbed
Happy he is
A song his princess sings
Princess of beauty
Raises his hopes
In his heart he knows
Coming close to the frog prince
Enchantment is felt
So she bent down
Sweet was the kiss
Frog prince ribbed ribbed
Frog prince ribbed
Happy he is
A song his princess sings
He is free of the spell

Good little poem based on the fairy tale of the Frog Prince. Keep it up Allen. Eventually you will be able to write twisted fairytales. Lucie

This is a very good rendition of a fairytale. I hope you will write more of these. This is stunning.

Very unconventional and a nice read! Good work Allen. I wonder if you were inspired by a fairy-tale or a real life experience; I really like the repetition in the poem as well, I feel it really makes the whole thing flow.
