CROSSING INTO THE SHADOWS

Come if you dare

Rising from the depths

Out of the shadows calls come

Shadow riders on patrol

Souls interlocked in darkness

Innocent souls they grab

Nothing seems to stop

Ghastly it is

Into the shadows some are taken

Never to escape

Taken deep into the darkness

Ho what a fright

The shadows are ghostly

Holding those in captive

Embracing you into darkness and fear

Shadows holding captive in fear

Haunting it is

A dark force is felt

Dark shadows surround us

Oh so frightening

Withdrawing into the light is impossible

So beware of the shadowy places

That is true darkness. Most people could go their whole lives unaware of just how dangerous it is and how even a bystander can be harmed. When it comes to the dark, there are no rules. An incredible write.
