A soldier walks where no others walk

And are afraid too

In the shadows of the battlefield

A place where all never come out the same

A solider walking in the shadows

Solider stands with his honor

Oh how stoic

In the field of battle

Daring to challenge

Entering with eyes op

Rising to duty

Walk with if brave enough

A strength is needed

Long fearful nights

Keeping alive is the goal

In this place

No end to the fight

Glory some think comes from war

Souls are lost

Hope forsaken

A walk in the shadow

Do not forget the solider

Oh so valiant the fight

With each step death follows
