A BIRD

this is a story of an unusual bird

She was beautiful red

her wing tips are yellow

her beak is orange

she was most beautiful

but she had one problem

when she took flight

it was backward she went

no matter what she did

it was always backward she flew

she wished she could fly other ways but backward

one day her wish came true in a flash of light

she fell a little losing her balance for just a minute

then she flapped her wings

and was surprised she was flying forward

and she could fly sideways

as well as backward

she was so happy she let out

a loud chirp

that is the end of her story
