A DRAGON CALLED EDION

In a land of beauty and magic

there was a beautiful dragon

her name is Edion

her wing span is 25 feet

she is quite golden

she was small for her kind

one day she began taking her first flight

she spread her wings

and started her first flight

in the reddening morning sky

her flight is wonders

but she had one problem

she has not learned one thing

it is easy to fly

but landing is hard

she tried to find a place to land

she finally spots a lake

and heads for it

and as she goes down

she makes a big splash

as she comes up

a young boy

was watch

wanting find out what made

the big splash in the middle of the pond

he was delighted to see the dragon

his name was Thomas

Thomas say hello

as Edion came closer

and he reached out

to touch her

and there was a mark

that appeared on his right hand

a mark that would glow
