RETICENT

A Chapter by STAR CHILD

RETICENT
Raising on wing
Into the heavens
On the beautiful wings
Shinning so brightly
Reach for new heights
Embrace the wind
Taking flight
In the wonder of the heavens
Climb on
Enjoy young dragon rider
No end to its delight
Truth is found if you look

Not bad. Only happened to read this one piece, but it's well-written and you use very vivid imagery here, which is always good. One word of caution - the whole concept of 'dragon riders' has been very, very done by Anne McCaffrey and I'd just make sure you take care that your concepts don't overlap too much. There's always the danger of someone seeing 'dragon riders' and thinking 'just another Pern knockoff'.
