Rise and Become

Rise and Become

A Poem by Dark Devotion

In the end you will fall and I will prevail, you torn open wounds and destroyed everyone around me. But not me. You almost had me, but i was to strong for you to tear down. Your a coward and will never measure to anything I will become. I will but back together the people you have torn down. They will restore, while you stare.

This is really prose, more than poetry. It could be prose poetry if you worked at it a bit (and look up "prose poetry" for an explanation and examples). If you fixed the gross grammatical errors this could have a potentially strong message, but you might want to work at adding to it, to engross the reader. Up to you.
