A Real KnightA Poem by SSKaitlynIdeal in every wayMy Knight isn’t one of shining armor, His metal is dented and worn. Even so he’s a charmer, A bit rugged but far from forlorn. So warm and mighty, He smiles brightly and fights rightly. In his arms I know I’m secure, I know I’m adored, reassured. His dark allure is intoxicating, While mine is more demure. He’s not in the least aggravating or dictating. Maybe a bit frustrating, And entirely captivating. I wouldn’t trade him for any other, No matter how shiny their armor. © 2017 SSKaitlynAuthor's Note
