Bang Bang Bang

Bang Bang Bang

A Poem by Baylin Snow

His fist slams against her eye,

her body dents the wall.

Please stop she screams

I wont tell she cries.

bang bang bang

pounding on the door from a disturbed neighbor

His evil woul moves to meet his disruptor

as she crawls to the corner

bang bang bang

calmly He opens the door

angrily the neighbor commands silence

cleverly intertwined with a police threat

His demon eyes grow black before He throws

this irritated neighbor to the floor

The terror exuberating from the ground grew

as He placed a .22 caliber gun in an open mouth

bang

and pulled the trigger with ease.

A shriek of growing panic erupts from the corner

An arrogant smirk towards her

reveals He has a plan in mind.

His smiles grows bigger as her body shakes violently

and gravity pulls both His and her hot salty tears down to the floor

She cowers in the corner when He walks to her

with a sad skip in His step.

Memories flash through her thoughts of

this once kind man she had met many years before

as her eyes squeeze tightly

Her eyes only open when strong hands grip her arms

to roughly toss her onto a matress

with egyptian cotton sheets and ropes

knotted to each of the four bed posts

bang bang bang

The headboard rattles against the wall

while she squirms; screams; bites; kicks

He throws His body long enough

for a chloroform filled rag to settle her down

He gently ties each limb

positioning her to strike His fancy

A stroll to the kitchen equips him with his favorite knife

He outlines her heart with cuts

until it is exposed for the naked eye to see

His gloved hand rips the beating from her chest

He looks at his wifes mangled body

then down to the floor were her lover lay

He spoke his last few words:

"you promised me your heart

but you gave it away

im taking back what is mine

ripping it from your chest

just the same as the stunt you pulled on me"

Beinding down to grab the gun

her heart is placed in her lovers hand

He raises the gun:

"I love you sweetheart"

BANG.

This was really scatter-brained, unfortunately. It had been a rough week, any suggestions to improve it would be lovely!

very brutal way to die for sure, but love and cheating can drive a person to do insane things that they normally wouldn't do especially when confronted with the situation.
