Storm's

Storm's

A Poem by ~S.S.A.F.

Droplets of rain tapping on frozen glass

Feeling pain slowly slip out to gently surpass

Wishing things were so different

We weren’t steadfast

Standing here at a bypassed

Acting angry and rash

Like a hurricane spinning

Through all of the rain

Throwing our things cus we’re never the same

Hoping droplets could covered slashes of pain

But forever I wonder if something would change

But what of the people that I use to love

The ones from my memories that they let go of

When did this happen

When push comes to shove

Leaving me behind look up

Like a storm that is raging

We slowly dissolve

Watching crashes of lightning that seem so far off

Screaming like thunder we make our exchange

Causing hearts that grew fonder to slowly fade away

Making curses of promises that we knew weren’t ok

So I sit around wondering if something would change

Well, something definitely changed then.
That's just the way it is. Sometimes, all you have to do, is let go, walk another road, not looking back.
