Many Masks

Many Masks

A Poem by Samuel Riley

In a world for of deceit and lies.

We mask are own with more.

To only suffer the burden of the many masks we find ourselves wearing.

Completely losing ourselves within these masks of deceit and lies.

Waiting to remove them to let our true self shine.

Some days we get closer then others.

To have that one that tares them off.

Showing us our true self are perfect.

The way we were made, Flaws and all.

Takes our pain with ease not as a burden.

Our sorrows as a bliss of light not darkness.

Never allowing us to fall deeper in our guilt.

We all can only hope to find that person that is our twin flame.

The one that removes these masks we hide behind.
