Raw emotions

Raw emotions

A Poem by Samuel Riley

Let me hear the voices inside this mind.

Telling what is and what was.

Never being straight.

Always running these circles around me.

Why must I confide in this subsiding  echo inside this mind.

To be twisted by the things that never were.

To be blanketed by the words that never were truly spoken.

These optical illusions that are burnt in.

Raw emotions felt.
