Storm

Storm

A Poem by SPF

The sky is crying. Crying for me.
Crying for burdens the world cannot see.
The clouds are wailing, a mournful cry,
Sending down tears from a grumbling, gray sky.
The lightening flashes its terrible eyes
The storm’s vengeance no longer disguised.
Winds swirl around me, broken hearts go whirling by,
But still tears are falling from that grumbling, gray sky.
The winds begin to quiet down, the lightening makes amends,
Although it’s crying ceases, the sky’s sorrow never ends.
