Italian Sonnet

Italian Sonnet

A Poem by SPF

“Fair Juliet! How I love thee,
Your beauty astounds me in the dawn,
I wait to hear your lovely song.”
Cries Romeo, up in the tree.
“I have saved you, Princess, from your doom,
Now I ask thee who thou art,
And if you’d like to have my heart.”
Says the White Knight that shines like the moon.
When will love find me like it found Juliet?
When will True Love’s Kiss break the spell?
When will I learn how to fly and soar?
I am still searching, but haven’t found it yet,
When will someone love me? Only time will tell,
Hurry Love, I cannot wait much more.
