Let's play the game called LIFE

A Poem by SUGATA M

Let's play the game called LIFE

Ignore the fall, cherish the rise,

Ever you hold the devil’s device?

Crave for rat race never ends,

Brazen soul hardly bends.

‘Every dog has his day’-

That’s how they make the say,

There is nothing to lose for the lost

Failures have no takers but bloody cost.

Life is a big game,

Can bring fame, can be a shame,

All depends -

How much you love your name.

Every time you laugh
Every time you cry,
The awesome thing called life,
That never gets dry.

Love or Hate

Can you bate?

In the Casino of Life

Own a fate.

Life is what we make of it. The cards we are dealt aren't always winning but we can learn from the hard lessons. I love each stanza. Each one adding your thoughts to the next.

Like this, a good poem. Notice you change the rhyme scheme here, and also the line length, so a good write that (maybe) needs a bit of work.

I like the quotes especially the one above. We decide what we need. Good or bad? Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
