If you only knew what you did

If you only realized the damage

you caused me

You would see

Maybe understand why.

Why I responded that way

Why I did what I did

Why I had to protect myself 

From you.

You villainized me for it;

called me names,

belittled me.

Your abuse helped shape me

and it changed me.

I will no longer accept it.

I will not let you Abuse me anymore
