to do to celebrate.

I may just want my few close friends

Not a crazy party.

nothing really special about it.

I remember my sweet sixteen. :) I think that for someone as sweet as you, it doesn't matter what you do or where you go. I think you'd shine anywhere my young friend. :)

Well, if your birthday is actually coming up in a few months--HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!

Planning for a sweet sixteen was a big deal for me! But, I totally understand the last two lines--the feeling of "eh, it's just another year." Believe me, the years after your sweet sixteen feel like nothing to celebrate, so enjoy every moment of it while you can :)

Make it an event--large or small--that you'll look back fondly on. It can be stressful to think about it, especially if you have friends that like to go over the top with their parties. But go at your own pace, make it your party and no one else's. It doesn't hold the same sentiment if the birthday girl is forcing herself, so you do you :)
