What Is Literature?

What Is Literature?

A Poem by Langley
"

Literary snobs. Can't love 'em all the time.

"

Feminisms, Effigies, Phenomenologies

Foucauldian philosophy: Where is my identity?

Deconstructionism, Reconstructionism, Structuralism

Vendlerarian Ardentry: who’s taken my identity?

Post-Colonialism, Pre-Colonialism, Palestinian Colonies

Viswanathan-Saidian, Shakespearian Identities?

England is Indian and India as English,

Feminism is Gray as Dorianism

And Structures built on sand lose their pieces anyway.

Modernisms scatter helter skelter

Post-Modernisms defend repent born again:

Colonialism like Apacostisisism in the end everyone gets some.

Born in fourteenth century died in fifteenth century

Read in twenty-first century: Never going away.

Never going away,

Diachronic Synchronic its history never going away,

From B. Wulf to V. Woolf,

It’s everyone’s anyway,

Coast to Coast

From Dover Beach to “Olive Beach”:

So what of Lacanian psychology and Freudian sexology,

Aren’t I Everybody’s Anyway?
