No One

A poem I wrote in a coffee shop while my girlfriend was getting us drinks.

No one will ever be seen again.

I've gone blind to my kin.

For no one will ever appear as real

As connected

As fitting.

No one will compare to her.

I feel her in my mind

Sense her thoughts

Her emotions

Her past

And her hurt.

The stars are jealous.

Our lives have aligned,

Like our hands that fit together.

They grew like this,

Since we were fetuses.

I feel her in my mind.

I sense her dreams

Her vision

Her future contentedness

I sensed she agreed

When she lost her sight too.

I like the strong sense of emotion and growing love in this poem. It has a certain rhythm to it, giving it this "simple yet powerful" waves of emotions. I can't help but say that the start of this poem is a little random. I read it a couple of times and I feel like it distracts the reader. Other than that well done :3
