Venom of Love

Venom of Love

A Poem by A hollow soul

The darkest of the night it was
And storms were howling from all sides
But she dared to step outside the walls
Coz there was something scarier inside

That snare disguised as love
Was toxic for her life
As the venom passed across her bloodstream
When he kissed her every time

She paced fast along the road
To the woods half wrecked by the thunderstorm
But it was safer than the cozy room
Which she once thought to be her new home

That snare disguised as love
Was toxic for her life
As the venom passed across her stream
When he kissed her every time

She could feel she can now fly
She’s is so free without her physical attire
She got back the drop from which she had been parched
It’s the life she had received back in her afterlife.

And down there inside those closed walls
He kept staring at his lifeless wife
And the venom passed across his bloodstream
As he realized the graffiti of time
