Soulfully Beautiful? A Myth

Soulfully Beautiful? A Myth

A Poem by A hollow soul

You said you believe
Beauty lies in the soul
Then why Can’t you recognize me
Every time you see my unattractive eyes

Why dont you try to
Read my mysterious mind

Why?

The answer I still seek
From you every time
Stays as an eternal mystery
Coz what’s around me
Is wrapped in a rug of never-ending hypocrisy

Why?

I may not possess those curves
Every night about whom you fantasize
I am adorned with uneven features
And I physically own a “plus” size

But I still have a priceless heart
Which could have protected you
You can never estimate how much
It would have adored you

It’s however sad that
You don’t deserve anything but pity

As you are wrapped with blindness
And you can only see those
That are artificially structured as pretty.
