Building a new me

Building a new me

A Poem by A hollow soul

Sitting on the stairs by the shore...
As I watched the reckless waves...
Passing through my feet...
somewhere I was lost in my thoughts...
I couldn't recognize whether those memories were bitter or were they sweet?

"It is good to stay blank sometimes"..
I said to myself...
I realized I have been missing this comfort..
Of conversation with only my own-self..

The thoughts in my mind were playing turbulence of past and future...
I was unable to figure out which way should be my conscience's order...

Just then my heart interrupted to say...
Let go off what's not meant to stay...
Let the sand roll, let the birds fly..
If that's meant to be here, that will for sure, cross your path one day..

Thinking this, I packed my heart...
inside a feel proof shield...
I wished to have a lot of strength..
So that I can start my own rebuild...
