Paralysed

Paralysed

A Poem by A hollow soul

Traversing through...
A cocktail of dreams and nightmares...
I couldn't realize how many years...
Have passed by my sides...

While trying to peep..
Outside I saw...
I have reached a maze ...
Of some strange unavoidable tides...

The more I travelled..
The more paralysed I got...
And now that I want to stand still...
My limbs left my side to support...

I am pinched at my heart...
Probably by the most painful thorn...
But I must keep as quiet as I can...
As the rupture in my silence will destroy all bonds...

Wrecked and destroyed from all ends....
My soul screams silently in pain...
But there's no cure to heal my wounds...
Those hope I had once wished, went all in vain...

It may be a curse, I told myself..
Or a blessing in disguise..
But I will bury it within me...
Because that's the promise I made in precise..
