Just Stop

Just Stop

A Poem by Debbie Durham

I wish the world would stop for me.
That everyone would be still and wait for me to heal.
The only thing people would do is walk with me, talk with me and listen to all the words that need to be said.
Someone would hold my hand and wipe away my tears but most of all, they would just stop...
So that for just a moment I could feel like I was important.
